Md. Shamsul Akram was born in Bangladesh and is known as Sumon in his village. He began his education at Karaibari Government Primary School, where he completed his primary studies in 2005 with a scholarship. He then attended Kamarjani Merchant’s High School, earning his Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in 2011. In 2015, he completed a Diploma in Computer Technology from Rangpur Polytechnic Institute, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Prime University, Dhaka, in 2019.
He has successfully completed his Master of Engineering in Information and Communications Engineering at the Berliner Hochschule für Technik (BHT), Berlin, Germany, in 2025.
Currently, Mr. Akram works as an IT Administrator at Uckert Technology Service GmbH, Berlin. Over the years, he has gained broad professional experience across academia, industry, and research institutions. His previous roles include positions at Walton Group, Uttara University, and the University of Asia Pacific in Bangladesh, as well as Deloitte GmbH, Technische Universität Darmstadt, Universität der Bundeswehr München, and autoaid GmbH in Germany. These positions have enriched his expertise in IT infrastructure, system administration, hardware engineering, and data analytics.
In addition to his professional career, Mr. Akram has been actively engaged in social and community initiatives. He founded Rainbow IT Source, a company providing ICT services, and established the Abdul Aziz Master Memorial Trust, a charitable organization dedicated to education and humanitarian causes. He also contributed significantly to the development of BDTone24.com, a well-known online news portal in Bangladesh.
Coming from a family of educators, Mr. Akram was raised with strong values of integrity, learning, and service. His father, Md. Shahid Ul Alam, is a respected teacher and devout individual, while his grandfather, Abdul Aziz Master, was a renowned teacher in their community. This legacy continues to inspire Mr. Akram in his professional and personal life, motivating him to combine technical excellence with meaningful social contribution.
